ABRID has just been hired to design a new concept in salons. Here’s what the interior looks like now. This space, and the two shops next door will be completely gutted. When finished, it will be 45 suites for hair stylists, nail techs, estheticians and massage therapists. More pics soon!

ABRID is an official Emerging Business for Superbowl 45!

I came across this quirky designer from Los Angeles. Marguerite Inman, working under the title Velvet Spade Designs, creates witty narrative scenes by blending plants with unexpected vintage and new materials. With titles such as “Drinkin Buddies” “Monkey Mist” and “What the Buck” these plant sculptures are instant conversation starters.
After a few years out of the biz, I am working in Set Decorating again. I am a buyer on the television show Lonestar, starring Jon Voight, slated to begin production in Dallas this month. I am still working with my remodeling and design clients, and loving being busy!
